Awards, Podcasts and More!

Hey everyone!
A lot has happened since the last update. It's really just been a crazy month. So I'll break it down into sections.

ANOTHER DAY COLDER:
We had our screening at the First Friday Film Festival on the 5th and it was fantastic. Probably the best festival experience we've had. Everyone there was really cool and we were introduced some awesome short films. There was a Q&A session at the end and Beth participated. I was able to take some poorly lit video and cut together a highlight reel of all her moments. I also wrote up some closed captions for it, if you have a hard time hearing anything.
But the real highlight from that was winning an Audience Choice Award! It was such an honor to participate in that event and we hope to do it again in the future.

LEFT HOOK:
February will be a big month for us and this project in particular. We have pretty much completed everything we need to for the fundraiser and we're extremely excited to get the ball rolling on it. Also nervous. But that's all a part of the process. We've spent the last several months really working extra hard on this (not that we weren't before then as well) and I'm feeling really good about everything we've made. I just got back from the Kansas City area again today because I was recording an interview with IX Productions where we talked about the film. That should be going up during the fundraiser. There is still so much work ahead of us and I'm excited to get around to it.

We also recently put out a podcast on the films of Mamoru Hosoda! You can listen to that HERE! We'll have another one out fairly soon on one of our favorite films, AKIRA!
