Pauly's Productions - Studio B Collaboration

Over the last few years, we have done a good amount of work with Pauly's Production. All the way back in 2017, we needed a good recording studio to get four solid hours of voice over recorded for Jacob Aaron Cullum's lines in LEFT HOOK. At the time, we were recording out of an apartment and while our set up was pretty good, it sometimes took a little patience to deal with the occasional sound of a neighbor passing by (something we didn't have time for in this case). Paul Jacobs provided us with a great place to do that recording and did an excellent job of engineering the session.
Later that same year, he did the sound mix for an early segment of the film and absolutely knocked it out of the park. If the budget would have allowed, we wanted him to mix the entire film. Sadly, we couldn't make that happen.
Once Studio B had opened, it was a perfect room for recording for someone who already has experience in doing their own engineering. Not to mention the great price you can obtain it for. We did three ADR sessions for WISH YOU WERE HERE in the
midst of 2020 when we weren't going to be able to do the recording in our own homes. All-in-all we've had great experiences here and have always jumped at the opportunity to not only recommend Pauly's, but also to help in any way we can. Tyler actually did a run of animated ads promoting the studio's guitar lessons program.
But to get to the actual point here, we were asked to come in an record any show of our choosing as a way to show off the studio itself in a new ad for their podcasting set up. We chose to use it for our CARRIER PIGEON premiere stream, a pre-recorded stream show coming this June. We're always happy to involve ourselves with Pauly's Productions and hope to continue to do so in the future.

The Donut Whole: Project X

The Donut Whole is a beloved donut and coffee shop in Wichita and over-all, a very cool place. It's actually one of the first places I (Tyler) visited when I first moved here and we manage to drag anyone we can there to experience it with us. In early 2018, The Donut Whole needed some help. Street construction had thrown off business for several months and the place was in danger. The owners created a GoFundMe campaign and the people of Wichita made it happen. We are proud supporters of this campaign and we are happy that the new owners have made good on all the promises left behind and are continuing the legacy of this great place.

For more information on The Donut Whole, take a look at their Facebook Page.
