Back in early 2019, Tyler was interviewed for a documentary about Wichita filmmakers by Raymond J. Reiss. The film features a pretty wide spread of local talent, including people we've worked with in the past. It was really nice to be included.
Tyler also designed the film's logo!

You can watch the film HERE!

For the online premiere of our short film, NIGHTMARE DRIVE, we launched it with a special live stream show. Meanwhile, we also raised funds for Wichita Family Crisis Center. This organization provides many services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Including outreach, court advocacy and emergency shelter services.

You can see the IC HALLOWEEN PARTY HERE.

Our fourth year supporting the festival. Given how nuts 2020 was, it was almost as though the festival either wouldn't happen or it would be moved into the early parts of the next year. But festival runner, Leif Jonker pulled through and set up six triple features at the Starlite Drive-In. (Well five triples and a double, but what ever.)
Even better, since the festival had to start earlier, we jumped in to help with intermission shows. On October 12th, our short films, NIGHTMARE DRIVE & ANOTHER DAY COLDER shared the screen with the FRIDAY THE 13TH films.

For more information, check out the Wichita Big Screen Facebook Page.

As with previous years, the festival serves as a fundraiser for LAPP (a local animal shelter). You can find out more about them

We partnered up with our friend, Harrison Hallows for his Kumakai Wolf Twitch stream and did a screening of our film HOW MUCH to raise money for charity as a part of his weekly "Charity Sunday" segment. After the film screened we chatted about the making of the short and the reality of the problems facing those with mental illness.
Harrison, who stars in the film, was kind enough to not only invite us on, but also allowed us to pick the charity. For which we chose, Let's Rock and Roll and Change the World. An organization that creates transitional homes for the homeless.

For any one interested in finding more information about them check out their website HERE!

Also, feel free to check in with Kumakai Wolf any Sunday to support a good cause!

Our third year sponsoring the festival! Including screenings of Christine, Maximum Overdrive and The Lost Boys. The highlight for us being a restored version of Leif Jonker's Darkness! We even did a podcast on it!

As with previous years, the festival serves as a fundraiser for LAPP (a local animal shelter). You can find out more about them HERE.

Technically this wasn't local, but hey, it's our website...
A stage show written by and starring Kristen Lee (one of the stars of LEFT HOOK) for the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

"Prodigy follows the young life of Jin-hee Song, a gifted Korean girl growing up in America. Jin-hee is bright, odd, and fearless, with that ever hopeful spark within all kid champions and dreamers. She loves her piano, wants to be a good nuna to her baby brother, and wishes with all her heart to make her father proud, but her light is challenged as she faces ostracism from her peers, the weight of her family’s expectations, and the consequences of reaching for the all-encompassing, unattainable American dream."

A fundraiser, this time for a comic book. We met David Fleming at Air Capital Comic Con as his booth was fairly close to ours. We enjoyed his art and when the opportunity came up to give him support, we happily obliged.

You can see some of David's work here!

This is another fundraiser we backed, this time by our friend Matthew Dunehoo. Matt has helped us several times in the past, especially with screening our short films at his festival (First Friday Film Fest), so it only felt right to throw him some support. WRETCH looks like it will be a sick, thrilling watch. We can't wait to see it.

THE BROKEN KEY - Short Film

A horror short by Fritz Robinson (Altisma Films)! We met Fritz after seeing a screening of his previous film, SPARKLEVILLE in early 2018. When we saw that short, we had to know the man responsible. Since then, he has helped us on several occasions and we like to return the favor. During production of this short, Tyler served as Assistant Director, while Chris was in charge of lighting and sound. Once production was complete, we were tasked with being the post-production studio. We edited, mixed and did special effects for the film.
Tyler also designed the Altisma Films logo and made the animated intro that now plays in front of all their films.

Our second year sponsoring Wichita Big Screen's HorrorFest! This year was special because aside from screening classics such as Hellraiser and Evil Dead 2, this year also featured a rare showing of George A Romero's Dawn of the Dead in 3-D! The Old Town Warren was the second theater in the word to book this version of the film. Additionally, we were brought in to shoot interviews and promotional video for the film on the night of the screening.

As with previous years, the festival serves as a fundraiser for LAPP (a local animal shelter). You can find out more about them HERE.
