Roy Nugen is an award-winning writer, producer, property master plus actor. Roy knew early on what movies could be when at the tender age of 3 he saw BATMAN (1989) in the theater and was mesmerized. After a brief detour into law enforcement, Roy turned his sights back to filmmaking. He comes from a family of musicians, wildcatters, cops, lion tamers and engineers.
Having written 14 short films such as BAG FULL OF TROUBLE, POTBOILER, HANDLE WITH CARE and CHEKHOV'S HAND GRENADE. With his hobby of collecting old pulp paperback novels, Roy is also a prolific book reviewer with a blog at bloodyspicybooks.blogspot.com and whose work has appeared in such magazines as Paperback Fanatic, Hot Lead and Sleazy Reader.
