I hope everyone, all one of our fans, enjoyed the last episode of Brimstone released last week. Which if you haven't seen it…well…go see it. Stop not seeing it. Stop that. Does your mother know you haven't seen it? I'm telling! Also this week we have a special video called "Wish You Were Here", a film created in 48 hours back in August. It's a little…late coming out. But that's nothing unusual for us if you have seen our release schedule for Brimstone. It's directed and co-written by me, Christopher Strong, with the other co-writer being Tyler W. Moore. This is the second short film created by me that has been released on our Illumination Cinema channel. Hope you all enjoy, leave your comments, question, death threats(for Tyler) in the comment section! Thanks everyone. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday, but if you didn't celebrate the holidays because you're a heathen and nobody loves you, then I'll just say that I love you anyway.

We came, we saw, we kicked it's ass! The sixth and final episode of Brimstone Terrace is now online!
I can feel the weight sprouting wings and flying off of my shoulders. It's been a long 7 months working on that last episode and an even longer 2 years working on the series as a whole. I think I can say that I'm proud of it as a whole, but some time away from it will definitely improve my feelings about it. It has truly been an exhausting but educational experience for me. I already can't wait to get the ball rolling on my next project and apply everything I've learned to it. Regardless of the extreme delays, I sincerely hope you enjoy it. You can see the episode HERE! So what do we have on our plate now? Well, the next thing we have coming up (very soon I might add) is the online release of our short film we made for the 48 Hour Film Project back in July. We finally got around to digging it out and touching it up for a proper release and I think it is complete. So next Friday, expect to see "Wish You Were Here". Surely we have more than that, right? Well, yeah. But I feel like it's best if we get back to you about that some other time. We have a feeling this is going to be a great year. We hope it's good for you as well. -Tyler W. Moore So most of you probably already know this. But last Friday, I made a quick update video regarding upcoming releases. It included a clip from Episode 6. If you've been following the blog, the only thing new in it is the clip. So here it is. More updates soon! -Tyler W. Moore This past weekend I had the privilege of participating in a 48 Hour Film competition. For those of whom don't know what that is, it's basically where you have to make a short film in the span of only 48 hours. It's quite a challenge and took a lot out of me. I'm still feeling some of the effects of all that work, although that's mostly because I'm always tired.
I started on friday, got up to the starting area, and drew the genre: drama! I was very ecstatic. As soon as I could, I let Tyler know what I got, and we started planning. I wrote out a first draft and he wrote out the second, punching up a couple of spots for me. After that I had to storyboard, stayed up until about 4 or so doing all of that. When it came time to film, that was one of the easiest parts! Both of my actors were very professional and so there weren't really any bumps getting the filming done. After that, editing! Easily another one of my favorite things to do, thankfully I was able to take a nap before I began, unlike the last couple of years. What I came out with was a 7 minute short film called, "Wish You Were Here". Since the competition only allowed for 7 minutes, I actually had about 2 1/2 minutes or so of footage that needed to be cut out, so around 9 1/2 minutes in full length. With that, I'm announcing an extended cut for this project to come out very soon. We're going to try and remaster the audio and some of the visual aspects to give you, the audience, a better look at what we created. It's technically our first foray into live action as a group, so it's all very exciting stuff. I hope you will all enjoy the production when it comes out! SPEAKING of remasters, I'm currently working on a remaster of the first 5 episodes of Brimstone Terrace, our animated series. Tyler has given me some new shots and what not to make your viewing experience of Brimstone as high of quality as possible. We're not quite sure when this will all come out, but I can assure you that you won't have to wait too long. You should be seeing a trailer for the re-release show up on our YouTube channel within the next couple weeks. Now that I'm pretty much done with the 48 hour project, I can focus all of my attention on making Brimstone better than ever! We're also hard at work with episode 6, we have a few surprises in store for you that we hope you love. It's been quite a journey doing this series, from my point of view starting in about September-ish, I've seen the project from about beginning to end. I'm pretty excited to see the response to this episode, especially now that we have an excellent partner of whom we can release Brimstone through! -Chris |
